<p>If you take the hardest course load available at your HS, and do very well, it doesn’t matter that your school is not distinguished; what matters is your accomplishments in relation to the students at your school. Go for it!</p>
<p>My case is slightly different. What if I am taking the hardest course load (5 year long AP classes junior year) at a very distinguished high school(thirty-something in Newsweek rankings this year), but I’m only in the 15-20 percentile?</p>
