This pretty much shocked the entire student body. The senior with the highest SAT score in the school dropped out today. It’s pretty strange too because the second closet score to his was a 2030. He apparently had a 36 on the ACTs as well and felt that school was a joke.

I knew him, but not very well. The guy is brilliant, but had a class ranking that did not match his scores and his intelligence. He was in the news a few times because he owned a website that some large company tried to buy out. According to his friends, he bought some property in Kentucky and is going to be a rancher or a farmer.

Well good for him. He was obviously smart enough to realize what he really wanted to do in life, and knew that he could make it on his own without going to college.

If that’s what he wanted to do in life, good for him, you DON"T need college to be successful.
I know of many people who didn’t go to college and are more successful than many college graduates. =)

i guess…but he could have used his brilliance to do invent something useful for humanity.
BTW why would he take the SAT and ACT if he knew he was gonna drop out.

he clearly has a successful internet business, and doesn’t want to go through the motions of college because college doesn’t fit his goals. i applaud him.
