<p>Guys a little help here? Asking a question on behalf of my best friend</p>

<p>He applied, got a SGR. On the common application, he wrote that he could be taking English 1, English 2 during the spring but was unable to crash English 2.</p>

<p>What are his chances of being accepted at USC? His final Spring grades will be the following:
Calculus 1: C
General Chem: C
Asian Philosophy: B</p>

<p>Yes, he dun goof’d. I called for him and asked one of the counselors and they said it doesn’t matter if he doesn’t complete English 2, because he can take it at USC.</p>

<p>Is this student a transfer applicant? What was his college GPA? Was he active in any organization, community service or other activity to set him apart from other applicants?</p>

<p>Is he applying for a major that requires a portfolio or audition? SC looks at the entire application, but his grades are low for the best chances of admission.</p>
