Hi, I want to get into a really good college (who doesnt) but I am just terrible at standardized tests. I have taken the sat 3 times already and got a 1400 as my highest. It wasn’t seeing an increase from there. Keep in mind that I studied for the SAT for more than 6 months. I then tried the ACT and still didn’t get a good score. I dont know what to do anymore 
Apply test optional. There aremany excellent TO colleges. 1400 is a very good score. You will have plenty of good choices with that score. Find colleges where your stats are above the fiftieth percentile. Stop fixating on top twenty colleges. There are a lot of great schools where a 1400 will be high.
