I see a lot of Chances threats, and figured I might as well throw my hat in. If you find Chances threads obnoxious or over saturated, just ignore this post.

If you took the time to read and think about this, thank you!

If I take the required standardized tests more than once, which results will GW consider?

Applicants are encouraged to limit the number of times they take the ACT or SAT. If standardized tests are taken more than once, we will use the highest composite ACT or the highest combined SAT score. There is no advantage to using the College Board’s Score Choice when applying to GW, as we will only consider your highest score from each section of the SAT.

Impressive. I would recommend talking about being a volunteer at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for your essay topic. Few other people can write about that, which will make you stand out and it has the potential to be very powerful. Good luck!

Honestly, everything looks solid. I had similar stats as you. If GW is your first choice, I would suggest going ED to the school, but if it’s more of a backup/not your first choice (like it was for me) they have an EDII program which is between the EA of other schools and RD. (georgetown “deferred me” like it does to everyone :P)

P.S. the interview is extremely important in the admiss. process, so make it count :)
