<p>I have to apply for a school for my semester abroad and these are some of the universities offered in the States. I also plan to apply for masters (perhaps even HBS 2+2) in the States so a school with a good reputation would help I guess 
As a social, ambitious life science major which of these schools would be the best fit and present the most opportunities for me? Costs wouldn’t matter much in this case.</p>

<p>Babson is primarily a business school. Do they even offer life science courses?</p>
<p>For internationals, Cal-Berkely has the highest reputation followed by UCLA. They are both major public Universities, and both are really strong in life sciences. WashU is a private Uni which is also extremely strong in the life sciences. Academically, you could not go wrong with either of these three and you would find plenty of courses to your liking. Partly it depends on what kind of experience you are seeking. </p>
<p>George Washington would be less competitive, and has more of a Poli Sci/Government focus. Yet, it offers plenty of bio-sci courses.</p>
<p>A fine school, Richmond is much smaller as a liberal arts college. The City of Richmond is probably harder to get to by air.</p>
<p>Given that you are coming to the US just for one semester, I would say GW, since there is so much to see in the DC area. GW isn’t quite as prestigious as WashU, Berkeley, and UCLA, but is still well-known and well regarded.</p>
<p>WashU is particularly known for life sciences. </p>
<p>Cal-Berkeley and UCLA are best known internationally, and are generally strong.</p>
<p>Richmond is smaller than the others. Transportation actually wouldn’t be too bad, (mentioned in the post above) since there is good train service to DC. </p>
<p>Babson seems to be a poor choice for your needs, because of its business focus.</p>
