Accepted into Corcoran (without a portfolio)!! Here’s a quick stats thing

• major: art history
• SAT: 1430
• 4.0 UW 4.18 W
• 7 APs (out of 9 that my school offers), 4s & 5s, I think what stood out was Calc BC 5 w/ AB subscore 5, also I mentioned that I'm taking the AP Chinese & AP Spanish Lang tests this May even though I am not enrolled in either class & my school doesn't offer Chinese
• lots of ECs; officer in NHS & SGA, started my own POC discussion group, captain of academic team, marching band, peer tutor, 250+ service hours
• hooks: Asian (?), art school student!! first-gen, QuestBridge Finalist, work 20+ hours/week
• supplement: 9/10 (I thought the supplement was optional so it was submitted 2 weeks late :/ did not impact my decision though!!)
• applied for FA, received Presidential Academic Scholarship ($24,000 for up to 5 years)

FA info won’t come until next week since the CSS names “3/25” as the award date. I also applied for a Special Program but did not receive any info in my decision letter. On the portal, it states “by the end of March” so it will also be coming out next week I believe.

update: got into the Special Program I applied to and just received FA award! It wasn’t in my decision letter but I also got an alumni award? Can some let me know what that is exactly?
