GWU Transfer Thread 2010

Thanks, Kulakai. Now you’ve got me all expectant and whatnot! It really only took 2 days? Thats fantastic! maybe just an extra day to get farther north to Seattle…which would mean today if it was sent Friday… oy. Thanks a lot! I was planning on getting some work done this morning… ;)

If it was sent on Friday then I imagine you should get it today or tomorrow. Normal first class mail shouldn’t take longer than that from coast -> coast.

Anyone on the East Coast get anything? I still have an hour and a half to wait…

Nothing in mail grrr here’s for tommrow kitncat called admissions lady said the decisions are still being made and sent annnd that it was taking so long because of zoning issues problems with space for students how many are leaving and admitting grrrrr

I am numb now…cheers

i live in atlanta. still nothing.
ha i called and asked about rejection letters- they said they’re mailing them out along with the acceptance package.

Ok i joined the facebook group anyone else join?

pssstt! I think Kulakai did…there is someone from a college in Nevada ;)

Yeah I’ll be the only one on there from Nevada :)

I live in southern california and have received nothing at all, hopefully today is the day, starting to become annoyed at how long it is taking

Well! Considering the number of people still waiting on admissions letters, that there were only 9 members last time I looked, and the minimal advertisement elsewhere…I would say you sir are Mr. David! …in the library with the rope…

and mad props to rcwhite, who is just *now *getting annoyed - I commend your patience.

and my hubby just checked the mail - negatron on my letter. I can’t tell you how surprised I am.

Being that I’m from Seattle originally, I am gonna blame it on the rain!

You know…I had heard that Washington has one of the highest serial killer rates or something similar…and some have actually attributed it to the psychological effect of the rain…but a rope in the library? really? thats so Clue

oh… ha… errr… you mean why my letter isn’t here yet? oh…this is awkward…

I’m pretty sure that was a high suicide/depression rate. It is too true though, one of the reasons I moved somewhere sunny and warm. I don’t think it rains quite as much in DC though the humidity is awful in August.

What ever happened to ShaunMartin? He kinda dropped off the radar…so did the thread originator…where you guys at?? heard anything?

O’ I’m still here…. I’m still waiting. I live in Bethesda, MD. I received an email from my contact yesterday and I was informed that notices were being sent out by official email. I replied back and told my contact I’ve received word on so many different stories. I haven’t gotten a reply back yet. I’ll be in touch.

Hey ShaunMartin, I was in your neck of the woods just yesterday taking an LSAT. I’m still waiting also. My wife actually made me not look out the window while the mail man was passing by, because she said I looked like I wanted to break the window…Can you blame me? lol

@DBmarine : I hear you… Our thoughts on the situation are alike. The LSAT? My buddy, who just got out of the Marines, took it yesterday in Bethesda as well.

Still nothing i live in downtown DC !!! rrrrrrrr ;(

Salahbb - have you ever called to ask the admissions office whether they would give you the decision in person?
