Gym/Work out

I see were you’re getting at…ill hafta see how the numbers come up in the future.

I run 2-3 miles every other day at about a 7 min or less pace. I want to run 5 miles non stop before this summer is over.

Ive really been getting tired of the constant long distance running. Ive seen people who do HIIT in the gym and all and they’re results are pretty good…I just dont want to start HIIT cardio and not be able to run 3 miles anymore.

5 miles is alot to run…only once in my life when coach got really ****ed at us, did he make us run 5

Car…dio?

The most I ever ran was 3 or so. I timed at 22.5 mins, which isn’t bad considering I have a collapsed lung :O

dayam…how did you get a collapsed lung? haha…22.5 isnt bad considering my 3miler is about 25 and I got recruited for a running sport.

I try to mix up my running. Two things I like to do (and are absolute killers) are running stadiums and running 400s. Both of them work on your speed while also really testing your endurance. Other than that I also mix it up with days where I run a hard mile and then various shorter sprints (50s, 100s, 200s) and occassionally go for a 4 mile endurance run.

I apparently had it since birth…I used to be tall and skinny and apparently the ‘spontaneous pneumothorax’ condition is more common for ectomorphs. Its hard for me to run anything over a mile, cuz I am really going on maybe 1 lung and half of the other, etc, but I got willpower :D.

I love sprints too, but I don’t do them often.

In all seriousness about Cardio…I’m doing it like a madman to get in soccer shape for next year at college. I’m as fast as a cat in short sprints and strong as an ox, but I have the endurance of a walrus which will kick my ass in soccer if I plan to play next year.

I’m currently doing 35 minutes on the treadmill, 15 minutes on the stationary bike and usually 90 minutes of rollerblading/hockey a day.

I’m hoping to get down to 155 without sacrificing too much strength.

Why would you ever want to run on a treadmill? It’s pure hell.

I get shin splints like MAAAADDDD when I run outside since my neighborhood is literally all hills. I used to run 1.25 mile laps around my 'hood, but it just became too much pain. On the treadmills its always steady ground.

to avoid caterpillars- they’re pure evil

I like to kill bugs.

Flame I was in the backyard skating to P.Y.T michael Jackson. And my neighbors were watching me. But it was cool cause I was on fire! All my tricks were sweet. :)

Ice baths does amazing things for shin splints, plus they’re great for socializing  We have “whirlpool parties” in the training room after practices.

Running in the grass is fun too.

Ice baths?? I’m not sure if “the boys” would like that one…

I Love To Bust Your Ass!!!

can we switch hokegoalie? haha…I can run forever, its not a problem…but when it comes to speed…well lets just say I’m a cherry picker in lacrosse. haha, thats why I have to get so big, if you cant be faster than everone…be bigger. Agility isnt so bad for me…I need quick feet for the position. Just…speed…if I had that, it would be insane.

I do most of my cardio outside…and its just running a couple of miles…maybe some interval training. Some footwork stuff. Im hoping to be down around 220 when practice starts in September.

You can go in just above your knees if you want. That’s what I usually do, unless my hips are also hurting.

I ice with boys all the time.

Lahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

I wish chics iced with us after practice…
