Lol. Your wish might be granted.

They tell me it’s not the depth of the water…

Saunas >>>>> Ice Baths.

oooooh I wonder if Tech has a sauna??

But lablondie’s right about the shin splints…ice bath. We have this big grey tubs…about 10 of em in a room and, it takes a while…but we go all the way up to our chest

Girls + Saunas = Heaven on Earth.

We only have 1 ice bath. So we stick 6 people or so in at a time, standing or kneeling. Then again, sometimes we’ll fill up gatorade jugs and use those as ice baths.

Icing every single day is the only way I can make it through a season (excluding ski season).

Oh I get where you’re coming from…heh, werd to that

Lablondie is so amazing.

I used to get mad shin splints too (terrible thing for Ultimate) until I started doing a ton of stabilizer exercises for my shins and calves… different kinds of toe taps, calf raises, plyos. Since I started doing those seriously I haven’t had the shin splints flare up since. You should try some out if you’re looking for a longer term solution to that problem.

Been there, done that.

Realistically, noone knows why I have this problem(any of my trainers and my doctor) as I play hockey and constantly have an “aggressive” lean when I do my skating, so I should be used to putting pressure on my shins. I think the problem is too much muscle in my upper body and too damn scrawny legs.

yea, i hate running outside (and on treadmill). i ride my bike, or ill do stationary bike if its frEEZing outside
only for about 6-10 miles (~40 min), seems to work well for me.

does running up/down stairs (6 flights, apartment) 4 times a day count as cardio? lol i do that everyday (it cant hurt :))

just shoulder press 5 sets of 5 reps each
