Hello,I am an international student and will likely enrol for a CC in California during Spring.
I still haven’t decided on which CC…just received notification from the following schools that would accept me and waiting reply from me:
DeAnza,Foothill,SMC and DVC.
It “would be better” if the school is in SF since I got relatives and friends there.LA is on my runner up list.
I was wondering which school could provide me a better chance at UCLA,UCB or USC.
Likely I will be taking Economics(macro+micro),Calculus,Critical Thinking,Reading and Composition,Finance Accounting,Management Accounting prior to better chances at B faculty in the three Universities I’ve mentioned above.
Should I take Business statistics as well?
Would be grateful if I get some answers for my enquiries.
Took TOEFL IBT already,112/120.
I am interested in transferring to Berkeley Econ,HAAS,UCLA Business Econ or USC Marshall after I’ve finished my second year.
I have relatives working in SF and I might or might not to be able to get an internship there during Summer,I’m also thinking of joining the swimming, debate and rugby(if any)club at the CC.

SMC has an above average transfer rate to UCLA. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE TAP PROGRAM (pretty much guarantees admission into non-engineering majors). CCs in the non-LA areas generally do not offer the TAP.
