<p>The catalog says that the Math 1B requirement may be taken concurrently… but it says Math 53 and 54 are required, and doesn’t say they can be taken concurrently. I don’t understand this - anyone who is currently taking 1B won’t have completed 53 and 54. And what material in H7A would require Math 53 and 54?</p>

<p>The reason it says that is because the catalog is referring to Physics H7A-C, not just H7A. It’s poorly written, but it means that Math 1B can be taken concurrently for H7A, Math 53 can be taken concurrently for H7B, and Math 54 can be taken concurrently for H7C, the same prerequisites as the regular Physics 7 series.</p>
