<p>On their site, HAAS says that one can satisfy the Foreign Language Requirement “by taking a course comparable to the second semester of a foreign language as taught at Berkeley.” </p>
<p>Does this mean taking a second semester course for ANY language course, even beginners? That is, will take Chinese 1A and 1B satisfy the language requirement for HAAS? Or do I need to continue through the intermediate level? Thanks!</p>
