Had Cal Grant A first year of college but got a 2.8 GPA

Hi, i received Cal Grant A for college and was given the 9k+ for my first year in college but after this first year I finished with a 2.8 GPA. How much money am I going to lose from this? Thank you. Currently attending University of La Verne but transferring to La Sierra University

Usually, your award remains the same unless you change from full time status to part time status.
As for your GPA, check with your university. As long as you are maintaining satisfactory academic progress, (usually no lower than passing or "C"s) you should be good for next year.
