Hi.

Do medical school only accept perfect students?

I had a bad first two quarters(2.5 13 units in both) but I think I can get at least 3.8 with 18 units this quarter. I learned how to study and got serious, and will give 100% for the next 3 years. First year btw.

Focus on what you can control now and get a degree in something else that is useful along the way. You can still get in with excellent grades from here on out and excellent MCAT scores, but I wouldn’t bank on it.

Medical Schools have admitted students like you before. Just be sure to step it up so you can amply demonstrate that your first year was merely a fluke.
