I received the Hadden Scholarship, but when I went to my school’s account I saw that it still hasn’t been applied. That means I still have to pay my school’s bill by the end of this month. Has anyone received this scholarship and can tell me when the scholarship is going to send the check to the school?
This is totally unwarranted and is causing me a lot of stress because it’s extra couple thousand that my family and I didn’t plan! :(((((
I can’t think anyone will happen along who got it in a previous year and that the date will also be good for this year. Here is what I would do
- Contact the Hadden Scholarship and let them know the date your bill is due and ask the status of the disbursement.
- Contact your school and ask if proof of the award is sufficient for them to allow you to delay payment, if not
- Request that your school put you on a payment plan so you will only have to pay a monthly portion right now and by next month's payment the scholarship funds will have arrived
