I'm sure this has been mentioned before. But for those of us who aren't familar with LA area (ie. new to it), where do we get haircuts? Are there barbershops on campus or do we have to look around? Lol thanks.

There is a place on campus where you can go if you want.

"if you want" does that mean its crappy? or expensive?

There's a unisex hair stylist in Ackerman called "Campus Cuts", and two unisex hair stylists in Westwood: "Annie's" and "Oakley's" (which has been around since UCLA was founded). All three are roughly $11 for a haircut. There are other hair stylists in Westwood, but they tend to be full-charge salons that don't cater to college students. I prefer Campus Cuts because it's the most convenient.

You can always go to Chinatown and get a $5 haircut + the bus ride to chinatown for 25 cents.

Yeah, but how long does it take to ride the bus to Chinatown?

"darling don't you go and cut your hair." Stephen Malkmus

i'll cut your hair. buzz cuts only =p
