How do students get into the top 10 medical schools like Harvard medical, Yale medical, John Hopkins medical, and Columbia medical. What makes them stand out?

Being “different,” having your own unique story, for Yale at least. They don’t like typical students with the usual things like hospital volunteering, they would prefer more unique experiences, that have a very special meaning for you.

If you are not a traditionally underrepresented minority in medicine, you better have a Rhodes or Marshall Scholarship to show the adcom.
