Happy 10-11-12!!!!

Just a little something to smile about - a fun “number” day today!!!

Ever since my first child was born on 11-11-88 I have been more cognizant of cool number dates.

Make it a good one!!! :)

My first and only was born on 11-13-88, maybe not a cool number, but it was a Friday, so he’s always loved Friday the 13ths.

Thanks for pointing that out, abasket. Some of us are a little slow. I wrote a check this morning and didn’t even notice.

I’m gearing up for Wednesday 12/12/12!

Should have waited to 1:14 PM to post this, and if you timed it just right it could have been

10/11/12 13:14:15

Lots of weddings in NY today!

Whenever I point out cool numbers like this, (could be addresses, phone numbers, dates, license plates, etc.) H points out that I have Asperger syndrome ;)

I have to put the date on the lunchboxes that my class of preschoolers bring to school. I wrote 10-11-12 eleven times today on lunchboxes. Even though I’m terrible at math I like cool number combinations.
My birthday is 7-3-62.

My memory is usually terrible, but one of the moments of my life I will never forget is sitting in my house in high school listening to WPLJ in New York at the moment it was 12:34 p.m. on May 6, 1978. (1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8)

Love these cool numbers. Tried to point it out to others, who just gave me an odd stare. Oh well! My BIL was born on 11/5 & my S was born 11/10 & D & other BIL was born 11/15. Niece is expecting a baby in November–we requested she stick with the program & have baby on 11/20, or at least 11/25 or 11/30. LOL! She she’d she’ll do her best ;)

And those parts of the world that reverse the day/month, will get it next month on the 10th. 10/11/12

D was born on 12/21/88- I was in labor all day watching Lockerbie.

If you want a real cool date consider the year 1961. Anybody here remember that year? I can - I was a kid and it was the first year of the Kennedy administration.

The reason why 1961 is so cool is because if you turn it upside down it still reads 1961. That won’t happen again until the year 6009.

One of my patients is getting married today. 2nd marriage for both. Also considered 12/12/12, but didn’t want it so close to the holidays. She picked it today for, of course, its really cool run!

Columbus Day, I will never forget. My dad an Italian Scot died on this day.

I made a mental note one evening, when I was a a new nurse and was working the evening shift in ICU, just finished my orientation and was on my own. i started to chart and it was 7/7/77. I remember every detail of the evening. I cant say that about any other evening back then!

I got married on 9/1/91–my husband has no excuse to forget our anniversary! And for those in the Pacific time zone, in a little over half an hour it’ll be 07:08:09 on 10/11/12 (for the second time today).

My friend’s daughter is getting married on 12/12/12. I remember being on vacation on 07/07/07, which was also a crazy day for weddings!

fun day! easy to remember when filling out all forms today!

Noticed the date when I was writing a check today, smiled a little to myself …my mother’s 88th birthday today :)

Love this thread!

My friend pointed out the date run yesterday to me and we enjoyed collecting more examples all day (guess we should have been working, oh well).

Her son’s BD in 9-9-90 and so on 9-9-99 he was 9 years old!

My DD’s BD is 6-7-89. We’re particularly happy with that one in our house…she has special needs and is VERY number disabled…but this one quirk in her life makes it easier for her! :)
