Good day to put on a Stevie playlist - also a favorite of mine - a GEM in music.

True story…1982, I was invited by a photographer friend to go to a Stevie Wonder concert, as a photographer’s assistant (carry equipment). I Jumped at the chance. We got our press passes and had access to walk all around the auditorium (no back stage access) - so we did, friend shooting pics. at one point friend was done, handed me a camera and told me to go ahead and shoot some pics. Which I did. I was about 10 rows from the stage and took a pic, Stevie looked up from the piano, right at me (yes, I am aware he’s blind), and gave that huge Stevie smile, lingered while I took 4 or 5 more shots, and then went back to focusing on the piano. Somewhere I have all the slides from my shoot, and that series is so much fun.
