Happy Pi(e) Day!

Are you celebrating?

I love pie, though sadly I’ll be too lazy to celebrate.

Had a buddy back in HS who could name Pi to the 50th (or some ridiculous) place within seconds. He was also a great baseball player and talented short order cook. Interesting fellow.

For sure!! Posted in reference to Pi Day on my organizations social media and thinking about making a quiche for dinner!!! I also wouldn’t turn down any cherry pie that was put in front of me!!!

My son is a jr high/high math teacher and usually celebrates but is traveling today for work - bummer for him and his students!

Funny @abasket , a cherry pie was literally put in front of me at the Kroger checkout. I hadn’t realized it was pie day (I guess I didn’t walk through the bakery). Smartly, they had them at the checkouts. Of course, I bought it!

No- but Beware the Ides of March (tomorrow).

I wished my daughter in Denmark a happy Pi day. She told me she never realized it because they write their dates in the other order. I need to keep that in mind for the future.

Per our local paper, there will be a pie eating contest downtown at noon. The prize is a gift certificate to Serious Pie apparently.

Usually I bake some sort of pie - weather it’s sweet or a curry chicken pot pie. We are headed out this afternoon for a campus visit so not sure I will get to it…I might just pick up a banana cream pie

Made apple pie today:)

Big sale at my supermarket - $3.14 per pie!

If you write dates like a European, there will never be a Pi Day – no 14th month, and no April 31. Silly Europeans. Their loss.

We have a local bakery that makes the best cherry pie I’ve ever had. Tart. Not gooey. I want pie.

Had to make a cherry pie today! See my profile pic

Oh my, the MIT applicants have 2 1/2 hours to go .

I and other managers in my office made Pie for the staff. I made key lime.

Had a pizza pie with mom for lunch. Made a Shepherd’s Pie for dinner, and an All American Apple Pie for dessert!

DH was the “party planning” guy at his office, and he picked up 12 pies at the bakery, for the 65 people in his department. He told me none of them was as good as mine. I love him sometimes!
