<p>Of course, 25% is still crazy low (about 35th lowest in the country), especially considering the type of students that apply to Cornell (good ones).</p>

<p>Isn’t that 25% acceptance rate an average of RD and ED acceptance rates? From the profiles I have seen, RD acceptance rate is about 18-19% these days and ED is about 33% or so. So, if the poster is thinking about applying RD, the statistics are lower than what you are quoting.</p>
