I hope to be transferring from a well respected East Coast school as a sophomore. If I don’t join a fraternity, how hard is it to find a group of friends? How hard is it to find decent housing and roommates this late ? Do people take advantage of L.A. and go to the beach, mountains, and other places off campus etc or do they mainly stay on campus on weekends? Is it pretty necessary to join a fraternity if you’re a social person? Thanks.

Dude don’t worry about not being able to find a group of friends. Just start talking to some people and eventually you’ll be in with them and their friends. Good luck man, enjoy USC!

I’m in the same situation as you are; I might transfer into USC next year but I am worried it will be tough to make friends or it will ruin the typical ‘4 year’ college experience. It would be nice to know if people at USC are nice and outgoing or are snobby and live in stuck up frats
