Harder to get into an Ivy....

Regular decision or transfer?

For most of them, transfer. Maybe a thousand times harder. Most years, they take very few; some years, they take none. Princeton does not even accept transfer applications.

I have heard Cornell accepts many more transfers than most Ivies, but I don't really know that much about Cornell.

You have to be careful with Cornell numbers, as they have guaranteed transfer agreements with some schools:

The data is available via Common Data Sets or the CB College Search function.

The different Cornell colleges have different transfer policies. Arts and Sciences accepts many fewer transfers than the Ag School does.

As hard as it is to be accepted RD to an Ivy, transferring is much more difficult.
