<p>No way is any history the hardest (US, World, Euro). Those are the most straightforward of all the AP exams. Any history is self study-able if you’re disciplined enough.</p>
<p>If you include the languages as part of the humanities, then AP Spanish is probably the hardest. Art History is up there too.</p>

<p>Well if you’re just talking about the Govs, Histories, and Econs, I’d say:</p>
<ol>
<li>Art History</li>
<li>Euro History</li>
<li>US History.</li>
</ol>
<p>Honestly ALL these tests are easy except for maybe Art History. All of them can be easily self studied.</p>
<p>This is a silly question. The govs are, ceteris paribus, obviously much easier than the history exams as they expect you to know the material learned in one semester, rather than two. Same with the Econs. But if you’re good at History, but not at Economics, your perception will vary, just like Psychology may seem more difficult to a very strong math student who aced BC.</p>
<p>French language was probably the hardest exam I took. The speaking really ramped up the difficulty for me, and I found it way more challenging than French Lit. English Lit was pretty intense, too.</p>
<p>I think AP Studio Art and AP Music are probably among the harder exams, since they require a level of innate talent to succeed. (i.e. you can’t pick up Barrons the day before and cram for them.)</p>
<p>Personally, I would die from boredom before being able to finish an AP Art History/Studio Art class, much less sit a 3-hour exam.</p>
