Harry Potter book sequels by G. Norman Lippert

These books are available for FREE pdf download.

They were written by G. Norman Lippert, and they are EXCELLENT! There are three books in the series so far, they focus on Harry Potter’s son James. New characters, new plots, and intricate magical details, just like the originals by J.K.Rowling. Lots of fun to read, good illustrations, and wonderful storylines. I highly recommend them, and the price is right. :)

You can download them at the second google link below :

It’s pretty cool, but I can see the lawsuit from a mile away.

J. K. Rowling is supportive of fanfiction based on her works. Now, if the guy were charging money for his stories I could see trouble coming, but if they’re free . . . no problem.

I expected Rowling to write stories based on the kids at some point in the future. I’m sure she is enjoying her current life, but I wanted her to have some dream of a story and feel compelled to return to writing. such talent.

Rowling was recently a guest on Oprah for the entire show. She said she would definitely continue with writing, without question. She left the door slightly open with regard to some sort of sequel, saying she wouldn’t rule it out entirely. It was an excellent interview. She is so intelligent and well spoken.

^And so humble also! She spoke at D1’s college graduation–I was surprised at what a good job she did.

Thanks for the link UCLA Band mom! This will absolutely be something I’m going to read once I have free time again.

For interested fans, there are literally thousands of fan fiction stories out there that play in the Harry Potter universe. What makes G. Norman Lippert any different from any of those?

The books are way more than just “fan fiction”. If I hadn’t known better, I would have sworn that they were written by J.K.Rowling. The attention to whimsical detail is fantastic, just like in the originals. The personalities of the characters pop right off the page. The plots are wildly intricate, with twists and turns, and all kinds of magic. There are amazing plot devices used, and the new characters introduced just blew me away. The typeface is just like in the original, and the illustrations are all drawn by Lippert, and they are excellent. They are several hundred pages long each, with an over-arching plot through all of them. I don’t want to give any details away, but after reading just the first chapter of the first book I couldn’t stop reading it!. The pdf files work with Kindle or you can just read it off your computer monitor. Lippert doesn’t just rehash Rowlings characters and scenarios either, that is what blew me away, he takes the entire story off in a wonderful new direction that kept it all fresh for me as a reader.

Thanks UCLA Band Mom, I’ve started book one, and it is excellent. Great attention to detail, love the illustrations.

So how/where do you get these for Kindle? I have only ever gotten material for my kindle off of the Amazon website. Can you get these through the kindle store on Amazon? So sorry if this is a dumb question!

Borrowing ideas is nothing new in fiction. Copyright generally protects “the order of words on the page”.

Here’s a note from the author:

Lipperts new characters, settings and plots are what make the books so good. I was truly impressed at how he took the magical world to a new time and place.

You don’t need a Kindle to read the books, you can download and read the pdf files from any computer. I don’t own a Kindle, but one of my friends does (she bought it off Amazon), and she used it to read the downloaded James Potter books.

The 3 books are available for free download at the Hall of Elders Crossing website, check out my first post for the google link.

Enjoy!

We recently inherited a Kindle and I will definitely look into downloading these books. My son and his grandfather loved reading Harry Potter together, and they miss that bonding experience now that JK has stopped writing. Son never was much of a reader, but Harry Potter was devoured with amazing speed. Sounds like a good idea for Christmas break reading.

Great! I’m glad that you are enjoying book 1. Wait until you read books 2 and 3–they are even better!
