harvard 2014 hopeful! but have bad SAT scores?

sorry for trolling btw.

anyway getting back to your question, read up the harvard admission stats, “For every admitted student with a perfect 2400, there was someone who got into Harvard with a 1960 SAT”. hope this answers your question.

try to sort out your problems. i hope you always get perfect score in math dont you? then try to improve the CR and W parts. and how about your sat 2 scores? try to keep them perfect too. and as far as your ECs are concerned… on your resume try to stress on the part which you like the best. always remember depth is infinitely more valued than breadth. ill give you an example. i hope ive earlier mentioned that my cousin(he lived in us though) got into Cornell. he had 16 years of piano and 14 years of fingerstyle guitar up on his brag sheet. and he played varsity soccer and tennis and all. he had won state level awards too. but you know what, he thinks(even now) that those didnt help him get Cornell. the thing was that he was learning sitar for just one year. of all the interviewer could seem impressed at, he was really intrigued by the simple(jk its not at all simple) musical instrument from india. it was this uniqueness that he thinks helped him get in. im not saying that you should rush to get a sitar tuition. no, but try to find out that special and unique you within yourself. and try things that are unique. things that the adcoms would love to add to their already stupendous student body.

i hope you dont get angry on me for this long and useless post:)
