hahaha. done with harvard app but not done with all apps.

finished with all ten applications as of a few days ago! : D
except i recently emailed my gc to send the gc part ii report that I failed to give her… she may not do that till after the deadline… please love me harvard i didn’t mean to, really…

I sent everything in yesterday!! AHHH I hope I proof read everything enough, I kind of did it quickly and I was really tired so I don’t quite trust my eyes. Not much I can do about it now

Congrats to everybody who submitted! :)

Submitted it today at exactly midnight. Fingers crossed.

Anyone else waiting to submit? Other than some minor edits I’m more or less done, but I’m not hitting the submit button until the 30th or thereabouts.

I’m not hitting the submit button either…but only because I’m not done!!! gahhh. I am spending this whole break writing my essays. =[

Did anyone not apply to some schools because they didn’t want to write anymore essays? ><

Well, I chose to apply to some schools because I liked them well enough and more importantly, they didn’t require esssays. Just kidding. Sort of.

hahaha likewise useyourname :)

BTW…I didn’t see this anywhere, but is there a deadline to apply for fin-aid?

I think it’s February 1st.

They say they read applications in the order they receive them.

I sent everything in by December 1, except for Part II of the guidance counselor form (which is Harvard-specific). My Harvard application status page says my application is complete…

What I’m wondering is, will they shove my application to the verrry end of the line because of that missing part, since they will end up receiving that part after the deadline (when my high school is back in session)?

^Reason for not sending it in: I didn’t find out about it until a couple days ago (as is evidenced earlier in this thread).

Multiple admission officers are going to read ur file and then discuss it in the later round. So essentially, having ur app read early or late won’t affect ur chance much, since ur file is going to be read multiple times at different times. Or at least I hope ![]()
btw, my interview went pretty decent. I don’t know if its good or not…, but I felt as if I got most of my points through.

@hopingdad Thanks, and you’re probably right. If I feel I’m well and truly DONE (assuming I’ve gotten all the required seals of approval!), I will try to submit ASAP. I’m just agonizing at this point…I’m ashamed to say I spent literally two and a half hours fixing a single sentence on my H supplement yesterday. It’s like my last gasp in this process, so I want to give it my all.

Anyone else editing word by word? LOL

@fatum, same here. I just didn’t want to write anymore essays! I’m going to stay up all weekend to work on these essays. I need them to be extra-spectacular.

I just gotta work out a few kinks in my essays, but I’ll probly submit sometime before the 28th.

I’m definitely submitting on the 28th, before I go travelling for the holidays.

Just submitted. I keep finishing college apps wondering why I didn’t realize this stuff about myself earlier.

So if our guidance counselor is filling up our application through Naviance (online form submission), do they also have to fill out the SSR II form (which is on the website-not on commonapp)? Or is this included in Naviance?

Thanks!
