Have any of you guys googled “Harvard Admitted Students Portal”? I clicked on the link that “Admitted Students”, and then I clicked “Continue to Site”. Then, it took me to my application status page. Is this what it is like for everyone else?

@oplurobha Try to clear your head. Visit a local park, cook dinner, go for a run. At this point, your nerves won’t change your admissions decision. As the old aphorism goes, “if you can change it, go change it. If you can’t, there is no point in worrying.”
I know that’s easier said than done, but just try to follow this advice. Next thing you know, it’ll be 5:00 PM EST and you’ll have your decision!
Admission results are going to be in the portal right? Plain text “accepted”/“rejected”/“wait-listed” ?
(Might try and write some code that will tell me the results in a cool way 
@Queenzi - yes will be on the portal. I believe “Congratulations” appears if you are accepted or a “View Update” button appears if you are not.
Two things stand out in my mind from last year’s portal, but I can’t remember which came first. I know Zuckerburg was somewhere with “congratulations”, but there was also this little short video of admin people jumping around celebrating. My S opened them by himself, so I’m not sure if it was a link or immediately on his portal.
@MedSciBud @QueenZi I was accepted EA. My portal showed “View Update” as well and after I clicked it I received my decision. Incidentally, I was shown my Financial Aid letter first (which began with “Congratulations on your admission to the Harvard Class of 2021”). At the bottom of the screen, there are links to view your “Admission Decision” and “Financial Aid Decision” separately. Good luck!
I was deferred EA. Hoping for better this time around.
Is anyone else applying for the Harvard/NEC (New England Conservatory) 5-year Dual Degree? Have you guys gotten back decisions from NEC yet?
So an “update” will appear no matter what? @onallera
And does harvard do the thing where the letter says congrats but we didn’t have room for you?
I’m pretty sure you don’t have Congratulations on the top before you click View Update, even if accepted.

Will decisions be released tomorrow or the 31st?
Deferred EA applicant here (grim, I know). Not expecting anything, and proud in myself that I was proactive of my situation by getting a letter of recommendation from a notable alumni and ex-professor as well as a letter of recommendation and support w/o a “slot” from the Harvard soccer coach. No matter what, I’m privileged to have great options that I am 100% genuinely excited about, some that I would even choose over Harvard if accepted. I wish y’all the best. Well I was unsure because I understood that it would be released on Friday, isn’t that what it says on their website?
The Ivies all release on the same day (and I think time), and according to the other Ivies it’s tomorrow at 5 pm Eastern.
