S24 got an interview invitation. They indicated that they may come over to his school so I assume there must be a lot of applicants from his school.

Do they interview everyone?
Also for the in person meeting, is sport coat and button down white shirt too much? Georgetown was super detailed in telling my son to wear casual clothes, no suits and that he even told my son he would be wearing jeans for the interview.
Does anyone know what percentage of applicants are waitlisted?

The interviewer got a JD, not an undergrad degree, at Harvard. Any tips for the interview? It will be zoom.
still no interview and friends in the same school got interview. Do they send out invite in a batch or I am pretty much done? Thanks

I don’t think it is any sort of signal. The alumni club in your city has probably randomly picked X number of kids to interview - key word - randomly
I agree. I heard it has no bearing and is not an indicator of anything.
However, from what I heard, the interview candidates were picked by admission officers. So, I guess it means something.

people were getting interviews so early on though. no way they identified people within days

For the US, the interview doesn’t mean anything and it isn’t availability based but for internationals, they are chosen
