My girl friends who are Harvard alums all say the same. They say the students are all stellar. Once in a while they get a really bad one and that would impact the application. However, they say on average of 20 that they recommend over the years, they’d get 1-2 that get admitted.
Is anyone’s update financial aid button gone?
Under “Profile”
Was financial option button in portal?
I never have seen it.
I never saw a financial aid page for Harvard either, unless it was information about how to apply.
There was not a financial aid checklist or portal, but there was a sign indicating that you applied for financial aid and some instructions in the “Profile” section. Those are gone now in my page.
Can’t say if there was or wasn’t a Financial Aid button (never looked at the profile page in the Applicant portal before), but I don’t see one there now. Is this significant? Does everyone have this change?
I am curious about the same.
Was there named profile on the portal?
I never had seen it .
What do you mean by named profile?
Above person stated " profile "
true, I dont remember the second tab. And I looked everywhere cause I did not want to miss any list of missing items to submit back in Feb.
Did the application checklist always have updates provided by student with dates as recent as March?
i have an update which i gave in second week of march
got an idoc req from harvard. does this possibly suggest my application was still in consideration then or anything otherwise positive?
Maybe! My student applied REA and received an idoc req last fall - he was deferred.
sounds positive to me
i got the idoc request just a day after submitting my application
Yes that’s a positive sign. Idoc requests means they are looking at financial aid documents for you.
