Oh ok I see, once you’re on that page with “resource is not cached” stay on the page and refresh and it should load the data in
I get pages and pages of data
You should be able to ctrl F within the code, if you can search “faq”
How do you do ctrl F? where do I put my mouse cursor?
I think I’ll leave everything alone now. Don’t want the system to crash or something
I see 5 “faq” too. Rejected?
What 5 “faq.” I don’t see that in my data. OK good night.
i can’t find “applicant_status” on mine. when i do “view page source” though i get 5 faqs though.
i’m on mac btw, maybe it’s because of that? idk
I am on Mac and can go to applicant_status with no problem. I just don’t have the 5 “faq.”
really? where do you see it. i suck at computers … i only have “apply” and “portal”
I just did what inkyb1 said to do above
weird. when i go down to the portal i only have something relating to layout and rendering. i have this thing that says “apply” on top of it though, and it lists out citizenship and being hispanic (which i am). it also lists out something about addresses
I have the same. It said I am a US citizen, etc.
I refuse to believe this, I have 5 faqs too😭 (I was deferred)

figured it out, i was using another link (the link i was using didn’t have “applicant_status”).
i also don’t have the faq

I also don’t have the faqs after using inspect? So is it like if you have 5 faqs you’re rejected but if you don’t you’re either waitlisted/accepted?
That is what inkyb1 said. I have 0/0 FAQ. Will know next week
I think lots of people are confused, so I’ll write a guide:
- Log into your Penn applicant portal as usual.
- Navigate to
view-source:https://key.admissions.upenn.edu/portal/applicant_status
(don’t forget the view-source part, it’s important) - You should see code and ONLY code at this point. If you are seeing the normal portal, you messed up.
- Control+F (or Command+F on Macs) and search for “faq”.
- It should be at lines 35, 37, 39, and 52.
If anyone does not get any hits, please send a screenshot of the code source. I surmise that those who are not getting any hits don’t have their cache on and therefore do not have anything saved when navigating to their Sources tab. This is a more robust way to find out.
