<p>hi i’m going to be a freshman at UT Austin (McCombs Business) this fall, but i am thinking of at least applying to transfer. i had a 1600 SAT, 10/610 rank, random leadership stuff in high school, and i am taking a pretty heavy course load first semester. my question is that if i keep my GPA high, would i have a good chance of getting in to harvard, columbia, or stanford? i don’t have a great “hook” at the moment. also, what can i do to improve my resume while i am at school in the fall. i worked this summer for a corporate lawyer, which is what i am probably going to write my essay on.</p>
