I had a son graduated a couple of years ago with pretty high GPA, my daughter tried pretty hard, but her GPA is 3.3. My son said that my daughter will not be able to secure a intern or job on campus, is that true?
She should visit the career center for tips and resources and information from a wider and more experienced perspective that your son has. Finding jobs is a matter of major, what kind of job you are looking for, what sort of other accomplishments you have. Surely not all campus jobs look at gpa. There is also research with professors if she has interest and passion someone may take her on and that is something to put on your CV as well.
@infohead, to clarify, are you talking about term-time or summer positions while your daughter is a student, or are you talking about obtaining something after graduation?
