has anyone ever gotten into harvard with 2 F’s on their transcript…by any chance?

I’m sure someone has, but it depends on where the F’s are. I mean if the person failed gym and failed health it’s different from them failing “more” important classes like Calculus BC and Physics. It depends on how “important” the class is.

well…how “important” is English - Analysis of lit?

lol pretty important, i’d say.

I did (more than two), but only after making straight A’s for two years at another college.

Are you a transfer student Hanna?
And do they look at your high school report as well, if you are applying as a transfer applicant?
Not that I am applying as a transfer (junior currently), just curious.

Are there extenuating circumstances? Please?

Yes, I was, and yes, they do.

and you still got in?

not recently… thats ridiculous

did you?

Yes, as a junior transfer.

well that gives one (me) hope

I have friend who got in everywhere (Harvard included) with two Fs in English, college Class of '08 (MIT, specifically).

Of course, she had utterly amazing awards to her name, most of which have made her somewhat of a celebrity.

I have to get into Harvard you guys…

Hey, I think I’m going to fail english too!

How come english seems to be the subject people fail in?

“How come english seems to be the subject people fail in?”
