Waitlisted… not too down, prob going to Rice. Go Owls!
Rejected but accepted to Columbia. Best of luck!
My son was waitlisted and accepted at Columbia, Cornell, Yale and UVA. Congrats to everyone who was accepted wherever that is and may you be blessed along your journeys!
Rejected …
Congratulations everyone!
Waitlisted. I got into Yale and Stanford so I’m not totally out of their league - any idea on the odds of getting in off the waitlist?
(Very happy with my current options, though.)
Congrats to all those who are selected
@Anonymoose3 Pick Stanford!!!
@Anonymoose3
Absolutely!,…Stanford!!
@Anonymoose3, with Stanford, Yale and MIT acceptances, you have an abundance of riches. Well done.
Son was accepted! Now to make some tough choices. (Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, or Brown)
How do you guys think Berkeley compares to the ivies? I was denied from Harvard but accepted to Berkeley as a chemistry major. Should I be dissapointed about Harvard or is Berkeley close to as good as Harvard?
Sorry to ask! I’m from Canada and don’t really know too much about schools in the states!
@Jordie12345 -
Wow! That’s great- U.C. Berkeley offers one of the top Chemistry majors AND it is one of the hardest to get accepted to…Berkeley is tops for science- possibly better than some of the Ivies- if accepted, I would seriously consider it.
Wow!!! I was accepted… I only applied because it was Harvard
Rejected but accepted to MIT, Brown, Dartmouth. damn wha
@jasishere Also I was rejected from Princeton as well lol (had to wait on that one because I guess the servers couldn’t handle too many people at once)
I was rejected from every ivy league as well as Stanford. I would be lying if I said I don’t feel completely devastated. :((
Let’s hope all this work was not for nothing :-<
Accepted!!! Still freaking out over the news… rejected from Tulane but accepted to Harvard… I’m cool w that
My son applied to 8 schools: accepted to Stanford REA, then UBerkeley, USC (full ride), UMichigan and finally Yale and Princeton. Waitlisted to Harvard and Wharton. A bit bummed about Harvard even if his first choice was Stanford. What are the chances if waitlisted?
Why would he want a spot in the waitlist if he already got into Stanford (the hardest school to get into…)
Why do you care about a Harvard waitlist if his first choice is Stanford? Harvard never reveals the number, but it is generally believed there are at least a thousand (or two?) on their waitlist. Some years they take a handful, some years several dozen, it is impossible to predict. They are doing House renovations so the number of beds may be tight.
