I think I am going to have a heart attack. I’ll just be sitting in class and my heart rate will skyrocket in five seconds when I start thinking about this. For real?! I am already mentally stressed; I don’t need cardiac issues now.

@nearea Mexican food, Panera bread, Indian food. All amazing stuff haha. UGH I have the biggest headache. I was teaching 10 and 12 year olds tennis and they drive me nuts!!!

If I don’t get in we’re going to a really nice steakhouse for comfort food and if I get in we’re going to Burger King because we’ll have to save from now on lolol
@smollhuman I have a club meeting right after decisions are released! One of our officers messages me asking me if I will be at the meeting, and I was thinking “Well, if I get in, I’ll have the energy to go…” but I told him I’d be there anyway

I’m just going to put this out there: remember that Harvard selects sincere individuals, those who are genuinely committed to learning and making a difference in this world. Don’t sell yourselves short on the personality stick. Really. I know I’m in the same boat as you, but from what I have gathered from speaking with other Harvard students/grads, everyone who is at Harvard is more or less meant to be at Harvard. Diversity is key, but sincerity is king. If you made your application nothing more than an honest representation of yourself and what you do, you should have no problem getting in. Yes, be accomplished, but love what you do. Admissions officers can see through the ruse of who is applying to Harvard simply because it is Harvard. Why Harvard? SO MANY REASONS! And you, the student, make the school; the school does not make you. How do you “make” Harvard? Simple–be the best version of yourself.
I have faith in all of us getting in. You guys are honestly way more friendly and supportive than many students in my school. Thanks for entertaining and informing me with your wonderful posts over the past few weeks!
