@smollhuman The big one for me is proximity to the city. Also, I intend to concentrate on development economics in my studies, and Columbia is quite simply the best for it, along with Harvard.
Note that I don’t like the city because it’s “the city” but rather for the opportunities available. Plus my best friend lives there if that counts for anything

I didn’t get an email about interviews. I did kinda stir the pot about mine though and now I feel really bad
The city is my home. I would open myself up to more liberal arts colleges but alot of them are in the middle of nowhere with too much trees surrounding them.
You guys are hilarious.
Also I just got accepted to Ohio State (one of my safeties!) this is a big deal because I hadn’t gotten accepted to any of my colleges yet due to most of them being East coast schools. So now at least I will have been accepted somewhere.
