<p>I’m thinking of applying Ph.D to a CUNY Baruch for Finance or CUNY Graduate Center for Financial Economics.</p>
<p>My career goal is to land in NYC Wall st. as a quant, associate or other stable field in finance sector in Wall st.</p>
<p>Due to special circumstances, I can not work and don’t have any work experience.</p>
<p>Upon obtaining Ph.D from CUNY, I will be competing for the same jobs in IB and BB with Harvard/MIT/Princeton UG fresh out of college.</p>
<p>Will I have a competitive edge with a Ph.D from CUNY over someone from Harvard UG considering that CUNY is a poorly ranked school?</p>
