I also applied to Harvard out of my own desire. My family and my friends all think that I have great odds of getting in as well. I’ve been wondering why they think this. Its interesting to see that you are having a similar experience

Hello Harvard applicants
Just making a quick visit from the Princeton SCEA thread to wish you all good luck. Remember, whether you get the acceptance or not, you’re all super qualified and gonna end up somewhere good. And whether you go to Harvard or not, your future career is what you make it.
For some reason our thread is not nearly as active as yours, but know that I am just as stressed as you guys and can 100% no bs legitimately say I know how you feel.

Some tips for my fellow stressed peers!!
Zen candles, calligraphy pens, classical music (preferably something soothing like Beethoven or Mozart), fuzzy socks and blankets, talking to friends, playing an instrument, or working out.
Also: don’t forget meditation which is very helpful. Daily Meditation Podcast is a great start.
Stay sane, happy, and healthy you guys! Don’t let the stress eat you up!
@refn100 Princeton is nice to you guys and announce results tomorrow. Harvard wants to see 200 pages here before deferring most of us 
hey guys, another H EA applicant here. To take our minds off things, what majors are you guys considering? I’m leaning towards Government or economics

P.S. for future reference, it’s a concentration- I’ve heard that one of Harvard’s pet peeves is when people refer to concentrations as majors, so just to let you know >:D<
I’m thinking of a concentration in Social Studies, which is so perfect for my interests and unique to Harvard…I’d better stop thinking about this before I get my hopes up 
@lilyfullford @leahgriffith123 did you send in music supplements? Lily how good are you on tuba?
I want to apply as a physics concentration. I slipped up in my brown RD interview and said major and my interviewer was irked

@harper3125 I’ve been playing the cello since the third grade, but I didn’t submit anything because I don’t think my skills are Yo-yo Ma level, which seems to be the level they expect when student submit materials. I did write a little bit about it in my common app, so they do know that I play.
definitely didn’t send in supplements. I honestly didn’t even think about it too much. I just play the tuba and the trumpet but I put it on my common app @harper3125
I talked to an admission officer bc I was on the fence abt submitting my dance portfolio (i.e. I’m no Maddie Ziegler lol) and she said that an additional portfolio can never hurt your chances
my concentration is humanities!! tbh I was surprised harvard had that option bc some ivy schools don’t I believe

I really hope to concentrate in mechanical engineering or business with some philosophy classes on the side, just because I really like philosophy.
