Harvard Waitlist Stats?

The regional coordinator calls you and you have at least one week AFTER the financial award letter arrives in the mail. When the FA office delayed mailing the awards, the decision deadline was also pushed back. It is not 24 hours, that info is wrong. Even when one does not expect financial aid, they still give ample time to respond. Check the previous years WL threads where the students described the time lengths for response, ie http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/12648189-post334.html

The first round is in mid May and the rounds can go all the way to August, but they let most of the WL go by the second round in early June. Few students are kept until August.

For the previous threads so people can read and forget their stress, get an idea of timeline, probability to be admitted, etc, http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/harvard-university/1121436-harvard-waitlist-2015-discuss-here.html http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/harvard-university/898910-harvard-waitlist-waiting-room-2014-thread.html
