My interpretation: Now that DHS has backed off its plan to pull Harvard’s visa certification, the school no longer needs a big “just-in-case” buffer. In other words, Harvard can lock in the Class of ’29 without dipping deep into the waitlist.
I called the admission office. They said, there will be a weave soon and we can know the decisions.
As in today? Please kill me now.
Will they reject everyone / close the waitlist? Or will there be acceptances?
He/she said there will be a wave soon, indicating some acceptances
Best of luck to everyone! It was a pleasure waiting with you all ![]()
Other than an outright fabrication, the more likely scenario is a rejection with the student then doing a pay to play program at Harvard like the Harvard Extension School.
Hopefully some of us will get off the waitlist and make the wait worthwhile. If you’re accepted, please let us know—we’d love to congratulate you!
Good luck everyone!! You are all AWESOME ![]()
I know right? I can’t take it anymore. Just put us all out of our misery already Harvard!!! Or put us in coach ![]()

portal just changed for me. application status no longer listed
Looks like today is the day for final decision whatever it may be.
How quickly after the portal status change should we be hearing?
Probably the regular time they release decisions. Portal is locked for everyone.
Thanks. Does anyone know the regular time they release decisions?
Maybe at 7 or 5 est
They didn’t say when they will do that. But they said soon
Sorry. But they didn’t clarify that
In what order do they generally do the acceptances and rejections? Which comes first? I’m assuming the rejections will just be mass e-mail that says “check your status on the portal.”
