Harvard, you have been served

Maybe Harvard doesn’t have a cap after a certain amount of seats are filled. Maybe the certain amount of seats is a higher number than yours.

Maybe we will find out.

really? I feel so bereft.

Well, most people at McK come in as associates so they have a wide variety of undergrads. All the Ivies are well represented as are other top US schools. Plus add in international students so you have lots of IIT guys too and a smattering of the best European schools. Not sure about Bain or BCG.

^^ this basically sums up why this discussion is going nowhere.

H should just release a racial breakdown of its admissions data. At the very least:

 • applicant numbers by race
 • admit number by race
 • yield numbers by race.

Then we can have an informed debate about what it means. Right now we have no real data to go on-- just speculation & anecdotes.

NOTE FROM MODERATING TEAM: Everything that needed to be said has been said many times. We made an exception because of the parties involved. We are now closing the thread but not before pointing you to the stickied thread in the Admission forum where further discussion is permitted.
