<p>I asked my Engineering/Physics teacher and my Calc BC teacher to write me rec letters and I was about to send them to Harvey Mudd via the Common App, but after going on the Harvey Mudd website I saw that they required one letter from a math or science teacher and one from a social science or english teacher. </p>
<p>It’s too late to ask for rec letters now. Should I just send in the two math/science based ones and hope for the best?</p>
<p>You should send one rec letter from your social science or English teacher. Please explain them the situation and get a rec letter from one of them</p>
<p>I think you are applying RD at this point, right? You could put in the 2 letters you have, then ask another teacher right after break. Explain to the teacher that you didn’t realize that one of your colleges had this requirement, and ask if they could possibly help you on short notice. Then send that one in as well. Mudd’s RD decisions came out at the very end of March last year, you have a little time to get an extra letter in.</p>
