<p>It’s dark (and could have nasty things) and the buses go pretty fast through it so in theory could hit someone in it (and I think have in the past, esp someone drunk and did not get out of the way). Anyway illegal most of the time for those reasons. BUT, I have walked it, as rarely in a snow storm, when the buses couldn’t run (nothing could) and the hill was dangerously slippery, it has been opened up for walking!</p>
<p>Haha did this in the 70’s . At midnight, of course. It was a little spooky, but no humans or animals were harmed.</p>
