Asking for a friend … 
I worked with a young guy (31) who had hair grafting done last year. He did a lot of research before having it done by an Orange County, CA doctor. His hair was receding in the front and I think he paid $9k.
My H’s roommate in medical school is a plastic surgeon who has been working for Bosley. Other technicians prepare the scalp and he does the grafting. I did ask him once if it worked and he said he would be out of work if it didn’t.
