Has anyone ever considered switching out of the business school??

Hey everyone! I’m currently a sophomore business student but have gotten myself awfully confused the past month during break! I am currently a double major in Marketing and Information Systems Management. But now I have started considering switching to Advertising/PR and Economics, so that I am able to build a portfolio for future jobs (and dare I say it, avoid taking the farther up business core classes like managerial accounting and business stats II).

I really am going crazy in my head. I like the business school, it has been my plan all along and is rather “safe” for me! But–I don’t have any interest in ISM, at all. Just chose it because of the high starting salary. And I have crossed off all of the other majors simply because they aren’t what I see myself doing as a professional. And, if I switch to the liberal arts school, I will be doing more creative things that I tend to prefer. But, again, job prospects are minimal at best!

Does anyone have any stories about them considering switching out and why/why not they did? Maybe this can help clear my head!!

I have tonight to decide for a last schedule change–otherwise I won’t be able to graduate on time. I wish I was able to major inside both schools—but my college does not allow it! Gr. Business school or Lib Arts School. So confused…thanks!! Hopefully someone answers.
