I flew 10+ years back so not very relevant now, but it was pretty good. A friend of mine flew about a year or two back and he said it was fine.
I fly fairly frequently and in terms of expectations, this is how I generally view the world’s major airlines (there are exceptions of course)
- US airlines - fairly barebones, very few if any frills. Minimal passenger rights.
- European airlines - a tad better. However, you have much stronger rights and will receive compensation if your flight is cancelled or significantly delayed, etc.
- Asian airlines (like Singapore, Cathay Pacific, JAL, etc) - much higher quality of service and food.
- Middle Eastern airlines (specifically Emirates and Qatar) - top of the line.
