Has anyone ever reported poorly worded questions and succeed? Example question here

http://ww2.wyomingcityschools.org/~harmsm/ap%20central%20practice%20bc%20exam/college%20board%20bc%20practice%20exam.pdf

Go to the FRQ section, question 1a.

Notice that it askes “How many gallons of sewage ENTER the…”. Now when I finished the sentence, and I saw the interval, I was really tempted to integrate this, but when I read it really carefully, it asks for the rate it “ENTERS”, not “INSIDE”

If a question like this is on the AP Exam you think this is arguable?

Also, shouldn’t they subtract 645??

Ah, this question is straightforward to me. And yes, I did integrate it and got 3981.02 gallons as the answer.

No, you cannot subtract 645 because it’s a rate at t=0, not the amount of gallons at t=0.
