<p>You can check by using your Stanford id to create an axess account. Wait for a few hours after creating the account if it doesnt recognize you as a student. The. You can view your award letters in the fin aid section.</p>

I got the fin aid but it appears to be for only one year. Am I misinterpreting this? Is that fin aid the same for all four years?</p>
<p>I believe what you’re getting now is an estimate and you get a final offer in the spring after submitting more information. The way I remember, you or your parents resubmit the FAFSA and CSS profile after the first of the year (after 2012 taxes are completed) for your final offer. And this has to be done yearly, so it’s not for all 4 years. Since finances can change, FA offers can also change from year to year.</p>

<p>I think it may just take them longer to give you estimated FA if you turn in your forms late. Again, it’s all an estimation for now and doesn’t become a final offer until 2012 taxes have been completed and forms are resubmitted later, like around February.</p>

<p>Why not just call the Financial Aid office to make sure you get accurate information.</p>
